Rosemont Dentist
Minutes from the Rosemont hotels, the entertainment district and O’Hare. We see local residents, people working the convention floor, and travellers who cracked a tooth a long way from their own dentist.
If you are here for work and something has gone wrong
Rosemont is a small village with a very large visiting population. A conference badge does not help much when a crown comes off at breakfast or a molar starts throbbing the night before you present.
You do not need to be an existing patient to be seen. Call, describe what happened, and we will tell you honestly whether it needs attention today or whether it can safely wait until you are home. Sometimes the right answer is a temporary fix that gets you through the week, and we are happy to do exactly that.
If it is severe, read what to do in a dental emergency near Chicago first. It covers the situations that belong in a hospital rather than a dental chair.
Common travel-related problems
Lost crown or filling
Very common on flights and with hotel food. Usually re-cementable in a single short visit if you have kept the crown.
Cracked or chipped tooth
Sharp edges get smoothed, the tooth gets protected, and a permanent crown can follow.
Severe toothache
Often an infected nerve. Root canal therapy relieves the pain rather than just masking it.
Sinus and altitude pain
Air pressure can make an existing problem announce itself. Worth diagnosing properly rather than assuming it is just the flight.
For Rosemont residents
If you actually live in the village rather than passing through, we are the sort of practice you can keep for decades. Two generations of dentists, general and family care alongside implants, cosmetic work and oral surgery, all in one office rather than scattered across referrals.
We are also open Saturday mornings, which suits people whose weeks are not nine to five.
Getting here from Rosemont
714 W Higgins Road, Park Ridge, IL 60068, with free parking at the door. Higgins Road runs directly between Rosemont and the office, and from the hotel cluster near the Convention Center it is a short drive north-east. Rideshare from the hotels is inexpensive if you would rather not move a rental car.
Questions from visitors and residents
Can I be seen if I am not a patient here?
Yes. Call (847) 696-1919 and describe the problem. Emergencies are triaged by what is actually wrong, not by how long you have been with us.
Will my out-of-state insurance work?
Most PPO plans travel. Give us your plan details when you call and we will check before you arrive so there are no surprises.
Can you do something temporary until I get home?
Often, yes. Stabilising a tooth so you can fly comfortably and have definitive work done by your own dentist is a perfectly good outcome, and we will say so if that is the sensible route.
How early can I be seen?
We open at 10:00am Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and 9:00am Saturday. Wednesday and Sunday we are closed, and Friday is reserved for surgical cases by appointment. Calling first thing gives the best chance of a same-day slot.
