The appointment allows our team to take impressions of your teeth to create the custom-fitted trays for bleach solution administration. Once your trays are created, you will visit our office a second time to try on the trays and ensure their fit. Dr. Loukas will also instruct you on how to use your bleaching solution along with tray wearing duration. In most cases, at home teeth whitening trays are worn each day for an hour for 7 consecutive days to achieve maximum results.
In Office Treatment With Opalescence Boost
In our Park Ridge, IL office, we administer a teeth whitening bleach solution called Opalescence Boost to brighten your teeth in less than an hour. Prior to the treatment, however, our hygienist will clean your teeth to remove any accumulated plaque to maximize the whitening treatment.
Once the teeth have been cleaned, a protective gel will be coated onto the gums to protect them from irritation during the whitening treatment. Several passes are made with the bleaching solution during the one hour process, which provides a smile up to ten shades brighter.
